Clarity Enhanced Diamond Process is invented by Zvi Yehuda. He is an Israeli diamond scientist who invented the Clarity Enhancement Process for diamonds. It all began in 1953, at the age of 16, he started the process of innovating diamonds. Yehuda Diamonds are natural diamonds with small imperfections. They are also mined from the earth and have undergone a process to remove inclusions that are visible to the naked eye. His innovative mind made him more challenged in developing his inventions. He first joined the industry when he found a way on how to recycle diamond powders. At that time, the Israeli government had been collecting diamond powders from factories but had no idea of a process for resuming or recycling it. Yehudi then collaborated with the government; they set up a small factory wherein diamond powders are now being recycled. When the Israeli government decided to stop collecting diamond powders, Yehuda took up the practice on his own making him the largest supplier of diamond powders in Israel. In the year 1982, Yehuda suggested an idea of clarity enhancement that would turn diamond with imperfections into flawless looking diamonds. His initial process for producing Clarity Enhanced Diamonds is the Deep Boiling Process, which uses a highly pressurized acid bath to clean black imperfections of diamonds from the surface. He then expanded this process when he developed the Laser Driller and used it to provide access to and clean the black spots/inclusions from the inside of the diamond. Yehuda is the man behind the visible inclusion coined as the “feather”. A “feather” is fracture that occurs in a diamond either during the mining process, or at another stage in the cutting & polishing process. The Yehuda Process for Clarity Enhance Diamonds is to insert a microscopic substance into the part of the diamond that contains a feather. This silica based substance fills the small cracks in the diamond making those imperfections virtually invisible to the naked eye. The process allows inclusions to be rendered almost invisible, resulting in a larger enhanced diamond but with the same price as the smaller, natural stone. The treatment can only be altered through a jeweler's torch with the use of strong acids and bases. Another process is the Octahedron in which the diamond will be sawed in half to make 2 equal sized diamonds. Yehuda never stops in innovating his inventions; most recently he has begun to make use of a specially engineered particle accelerator which he uses for coloring diamonds through radiation. Due to his innovative mind, he invented the diamond colorimeter which determines the color of the diamonds after polishing, and has already made improvements to his colorimeter by making it smaller in size and improved its function.
The benefits you can get when purchasing a clarity enhanced diamond are surmised in 4 aspects. First is the size; clarity enhanced diamonds are considerably larger than the non-enhanced or the natural diamonds. This is because a natural diamond must continually be cut smaller & smaller to achieve the part of the stone free of natural imperfections. Second is the price, a Clarity Enhanced Diamond is almost half of the price of a natural diamond with the same carat weight. The third is the clarity, well obviously as the term "clarity enhanced" they are of superior clarity. So the enhanced diamond is in a higher clarity grade than the natural diamond. The fourth and the last one is the color. Clarity enhanced diamonds look more appealing and have a higher color grade than a non-enhanced diamond. The effect of the enhancement in the value of an enhanced diamond is very small. For example, when a natural diamond with inclusions will yield a market value of $1000 will undergo an enhancement process, the result will be of the same market value. Why? Because after the enhancement process, the diamond is still a natural one except that it is now more visually appealing. That is one of the reasons why enhanced diamonds are popular. Another reason is that the size of the enhanced diamond compared to the size of the non-enhanced. A lot of people will choose one over the other because of the benefit of having a larger, higher quality in appearance and more affordable diamond.

Loved how you highlighted design with aesthetics. The concepts are unique at the core and hence could not be ignored at all costs. Great content.
